5. Nathan Hrovat

Height : 174 cm
Weight : 76 kg

Dynamic small midfielder who is a prolific ball winner and great user of the footy. Averaged 25.2 disposals (10 contested) and 4.4 clearances in winning Vic Metro's Most Valuable Player and All-Australian honours this year.

6. Jack Martin

Club : Claremont (WA)
D.O.B : 29/01/1995
Height : 184cm
Weight : 64kg

Jack is eligible only for the GWS mini-draft because he is too young for this year's draft. And he's likely to be taken with GWS' first pick in a similar vein to that of Gold Coast's Jaegar O'Meara.

Has blistering pace, exquisite foot skills and is a strong mark overhead.

The West Australian finished just one vote behind Lachie Whitfield, this year's expected No.1 draft pick, for the Larke Medal. Is an All-Australian and won WA's MVP. So many clubs want to get their hands on him but would have to eagerly trade with GWS to get him.

7. Brodie Grundy

Club : Sturt
D.O.B. : 15/04/1994
Height : 202cm
Weight : 100kg

Brodie is the standout tall man in the competition at this stage. He played for us last year, continued to develop and recently made his league debut with Sturt. He has a number of impressive traits with his athleticism and jump at the ball and what I like about him is his competitive nature. He gets after the contest with a bit of vigour and that's something that coaches always like. He's also developing his ability to go forward and take really good marks.

8. Jesse Hogan

Club : Claremont
D.O.B. : 12/02/1995
Height : 193cm
Weight : 91kg

Jesse is a powerful key forward/defender in the mould of Jonathan Brown. He's good overhead and very explosive off the mark for his size. We almost considered playing him in our under-18s team as a 16-year-old. He'd be in the top two or three players in the WAFL colts competition. He falls into the GWS mini-draft pool.

9. Jonathan O'Rourke

Club : Calder Cannons
D.O.B. : 21/04/1994
Height : 183cm
Weight : 75kg

He's in his second year in the AIS-AFL Academy and he's developing into a very rounded midfielder in terms of his inside and outside game and he has a very good tank. He's a very good decision maker with excellent kicking skills and good hands in close. He's not a big lad, but he's actually quite a good tackler for his size. He tends to lead by example, but is developing those leadership qualities.

10. Jimmy Toumpas

Club : Woodville-West Torrens
D.O.B. : 02/01/1994
Height : 183cm
Weight : 77kg

Jimmy played in last year's champs and he's a genuine chance to be a high draft pick. While everyone talks about his excellent Grand Final [for the Eagles' premiership team], I think his whole finals series was outstanding. It indicates to me that he's almost capable of playing senior AFL footy right now.
